We will be posting up the Labor Day weekend closures and work associated with the DNT soon so that you can “know before you go”.

I have decided not to even try driving on LBJ for a couple years.
I thought one of the requirements was they had to keep 4 lanes open the whole time. This is complete crap! You are choking N Dallas to death.
By having 4 lanes along 635, the loop ramps merging into IH 635 from the DNT will not have any weaving area which is doesn’t comply with AASHTO (American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials). If we did not reduce the lanes, we would have been creating a STOP condition which would back traffic along the loop onto the DNT creating a very unsafe situation.
