Long-Term Segment 2 Changes
Beginning Friday, October 5th at 10 p.m., the westbound LBJ frontage road will open between the Marsh Lane entrance ramp and Webb Chapel Road. At this time, the westbound exit ramp to Webb Chapel Road will be combined with Marsh Lane. Traffic will utilize the Marsh Lane exit ramp to access Webb Chapel Road.
Please note: This is a long-term, temporary closure to last for approximately 2 years in order to construct the main lanes of the LBJ Express.

If you are adding the traffic from Webb Chappel exit onto the Marsh lane exit will the Marsh lane exit be widened to accommodate the extra cars? The Marsh lane exit is already so congested that it backs up onto LBJ and causes the traffic to back up. Just a thought to consider…
Garrett, Thank you for your input regarding Marsh Lane. Our crews are currently in the process of working to widen that area of the frontage road before Marsh Lane. It is scheduled to be completed by mid-November.
