WHAT TO EXPECT THIS WEEKEND:

Thursday night, November 15th: Switch northbound and southbound Preston Road traffic to the newly constructed half of the bridge.

STEP 1: 9pm Nov 16th – Noon Nov 17th

  • Eastbound LBJ reduced down to 1 lane under Preston Road

  • The eastbound LBJ exit ramp to Hillcrest Road closed

Preston Road bridge closed.

 

Preston Bridge Demo Step 2

 STEP 2: Noon Nov 17th - 7pm Nov 17th

  • 2 right lanes closed on eastbound LBJ under Preston Road

  • The eastbound LBJ exit ramp to Hillcrest Road closed

Various lanes closed on Preston Road bridge.

 

Preston Bridge Demo Step 3

Step 3: 7pm Nov 17th – Noon Nov 18th

  • The westbound LBJ exit ramp to Montfort Drive closed

  • The westbound LBJ entrance ramp from Hillcrest Road closed

Step 4: Noon Nov 18th – 8pm Nov 18th

  • 2 right lanes closed on westbound LBJ under Preston Road

  • The eastbound LBJ exit ramp to Hillcrest Road closed

  • Various lanes closed on Preston Road bridge
